Rino Landa has been the Escondido Public Library's Library Director / City Librarian since October 2023. Rino has spent a nearly 20-year career in public libraries; most recently, he was the inaugural Director for the Homestead Cybrarium south of Miami, Florida. He has led the creation and expansion of unique services, such as maker spaces, recording studios, and Memory Labs. He earned his Master of Arts in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University. He is fluent in Spanish.
