  • Grading will take place between Date and Ash Streets, Ash and Harding Streets and Harding and Rose Streets.
  • Crews will dig and install irrigation lines between Ash and Harding Streets.
  • Crews will install irrigation valves and boxes from Date to Ash Streets and from Ash to Harding Streets.
  • Light base installation will occur between Rose Street and Midway Drive and between Ash and Harding Streets.
  • Cable railing will be installed between Date and Ash Streets and between Harding and Rose Streets.
  • A steel fence will be installed between Date and Ash Streets.
  • Demolition work is planned at the Date Bridge, and at Elm and Cedar Streets on the south side of the creek.

Trail users should anticipate the following impacts:

  • Sections of the trail will require full 24-hour closures for public safety during cable railing removal and replacement.
  • Periodic short-term closures during irrigation work.

Please pay attention to road signs in the area for the most up-to-date information on Creek Trail access.
