Sarah Hancock

Sarah began teaching private piano lessons straight out of high school, and later added voice, as well as group lessons.  Music has always been a very important factor in her life. She began taking lessons at age 7, after begging her mom for a year. She joined choir in high school and bell choir, and later formed her own band. She also took an interest in Jazz, and began singing solo as well as joining a jazz ensemble. Sarah studied voice with Dr. Sarah Lopez, holds a certificate in Applied Music, a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, and is currently in an M.B.A program. 

Sarah still plays and performs her own music for the enjoyment of it. She is looking forward to releasing a solo album of original compositions that were recently recorded. Sarah has been teaching music for 11 years. She has enjoyed teaching different age groups over the years, and appreciates the different dynamics that students bring to each class.
