Rebecca Schlesinger

Rebecca Schlesinger has over ten years of experience teaching both junior and adult tennis and has taught Escondido Recreation tennis classes since 1999. Rebecca played the USTA Junior Tennis Circuit in San Diego and Southern California, maintaining rankings in the top five in San Diego and in the top fifty in Southern California. She played junior nationals and later played the USTA National Amateur Satellite Circuit.

A native of San Diego, Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from UCSD. She worked at a TV station in the production department, at a dot.com as a content designer, and in the health and fitness industry. Because of her love of tennis, she is teaching again part-time. Rebecca believes that any competitive sport doesn't have to all work—it should also be fun—and tennis, in particular, can provide lifelong enjoyment.
