Leah Snead

Leah Snead studies Shito Ryu style Karate. Leah has been working with children for the last 15 years and has offered various classes through churches, the YMCA, the Boys & Girls Club, and recreation centers in North County. She holds certifications in yoga level one and two, chair yoga, kid's yoga, and prenatal/post partum yoga. She has taught gymnastics, yoga, fitness, karate, self-defense, and much more. Leah feels that one of her greatest accomplishments is teaching preschool Karate (ages 2–5 years). In the preschool karate classes, children are taught to be respectful, to follow directions, and to be a part of a structured class. Leah is a support to parents when dealing with behavior issues at home, as well as in class. Positive reinforcement and making good choices are a big part of the preschool karate class. Her preschool karate classes are offered in Oceanside, Escondido, and Carlsbad.
