In addition to the Job Application form, all applicants applying for positions involving supervisory or disciplinary authority over any minor will be required to fill out a supplemental questionnaire to fulfill compliance with Public Resources Code 5164. This questionnaire is available online or at Escondido City Hall, 201 N. Broadway.


Escondido Recreation is looking for contractual instructors to teach the following classes for the fall session, which begins the week of September 10, 2012.

For Children:

  • Early Foreign Language
  • Preschool Dance
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Science & Math
  • Piano

For Adults:

  • Dance
  • Pet Care/Behavior
  • Organic Gardening
  • Fitness
  • Quilting
  • Cooking
  • Acting/Improv
  • Piano
  • Singing
