Blythe Paley
Being the daughter of a nurse, and American Red Cross Instructor, it was inevitable that Blythe would be trained as a young teen in lifesaving skills. After graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Recreation Administration, she became an Aquatics Supervisor for the City of Dublin, then for the City of Poway. This job required Blythe to hold instructor certifications in Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and Water Safety. After leaving that job to be a full-time mother, she received additional instructor certifications in Babysitter's Training, CPR for the lay responder, California Child Care, Title 22, and various other classes. While being a stay-at-home mom for two children, Blythe teaches American Red Cross classes as an authorized provider, and is also a part time preschool teacher at a school in San Diego. In addition to teaching classes for the City of Escondido, Blythe also enjoys teaching contract classes for the City of Poway and for various local organizations and businesses.
